FCBAI holds biggest Bakery Fair

-

The biggest baking trade show in the country was recently held at the World Trade Center in Pasay, bringing together thousands of baking enthusiasts, students, café operators and other entrepreneurs to network with local and foreign exhibitors and learn from the seminars and demonstrations by Filipinos and international pastry experts.

A unique civic project of the Filipino-Chinese Bakery Association Inc. (FCBAI) led by its president Peter Fung and EVP William Ong, Bakery Fair 2019 has been established to uplift the standards and nationwide popularity of the baking industry while doing its share in sustaining the fast-growing Philippine economy.

“Started in 2001, the bakery fair is a biennial event, which aims to foster awareness on the importance of updating our industry on the latest trends in baking technology and ideas, new equipment and ingredients, latest packaging concepts and materials,” Fung said.

“We at FCBAI hope that the Bakery Fair can promote, strengthen and elevate the standards of the Philippine bakery industry not only as part of the country’s dietary, lifestyle and culinary culture but also to help boost economic development through the expansion of small mediumscale enterprise or SMEs,” he added.

FCBAI is among the business groups under the umbrella organization of the Filipino-Chinese Chambers of Commerce and Industry Inc. (FCCCII).
