Kapuso actress

gets her biggest break as a star in Black Lipstick, a film by Julius Ruslin Alfonso, written by Maria Zia Garganera, Kaila Milos Factolerin and Mark Stanley Mozo and produced by Obra Cinema.

Kyline started her career as a child star and when she turned 15, she auditioned for a role in the GMA show, Kambal Karibal. She was only supposed to play a small role in the series but when the GMA bosses saw how good she was in the audition, she was asked to audition again and was given the role of Cheska/Crisel.

Kambal Karibal became one of the highest rating programs of GMA Network and it propelled the young Kyline into prominence. She impressed the viewers of the series with her superb acting. She won Best Drama Supporting Actress at the 32nd PMPC Star Awards for TV for the said role. She was the only Filipina actress who won Best Actress in a Supporting Role (National Level) at the 1st Asian Academy Creative Awards (AACA) in Singapore in 2018.

Kyline got another plum role in Inagaw na Bituin, opposite Teri Malvar where she once again displayed her remarkable acting talent.

As a young girl, Kyline already imagined herself being in showbiz. Thus, it should not come as a surprise that when such opportunity beckoned, she grabbed the opportunity.

After making her mark as a TV star, Kyline makes her big leap to the big screen via Black Lipstick, a millennial version of the hit Snooky Serna film Blusang Itim under Seiko Films. She and Snooky first met during the movie’s story conference and the young actress expressed excitement to work with Snooky.

She is also very eager to give life to play the lead role in Black Lipstick. She had the chance to watch Blusang Itim in YouTube and was impressed by Snooky’s acting.

“I never thought I’d be given the opportunity to do the millennial version of Blusang Itim. It’s flattering to be considered for the part,” said Kyline.

The film also stars Migo Adecer, Manolo Pedrosa, Kate Valdez, James Teng, Chesca Salcedo, Nella Marie Dizon, Angel Guardian, Angellie Sano, Robin Guillamun, Charming Laguslad, Patricia Roxas, Nicole Villanueva and Thia Thomalla.
