Last quarter photography courses at Fort Santiago

-

The Federation of Philippine Photographers Foundation (FPPF) continues in its role promoting the study of photography by offering photography courses for beginners and professional photographers in Fort Santiago in Intramuros, Manila.

Local photography enthusiasts and some foreigners want to learn photography as a hobby or as a profession.

Beginners take the basic course to learn how to operate the camera and take good photos in five days or 40 hours while professional photographers to enhance their knowledge and be more competitive.

For more than two decades, photography enthusiasts – students, outof-school youth, teachers, doctors, nurses, advertisers, accountants, call center agents, government officials, and even showbiz personalities, military, and many others were among participants.

Mentors of the photography courses are tested photography educators, many of them from well-known universities who unselfishly share their expertise and experiences to enrollees.

“I enjoyed the basic class. I learned a lot for just five days. It made me feel the life of photographers. I’ve learned that without photographers’ shots, life’s like an empty world for me, knowledge of mankind,” Christian Jacinto, a basic enrollee, said.

The next five-Saturday basic photo course starts on Nov. 11 while Cruiseship Photography on Oct. 13.
