Wowowin changes the game

- ANGEL JAVIER CRUZ

Your favorite afternoon variety show just got a makeover! And it’s beyond anyone’s expectations.

Wowowin, hosted by no less than well-loved Kapuso TV host Willie Revillame, took entertainment to a whole new level to cater to a bigger audience and create an unforgettable experience for its viewers.

With state-ofthe-art equipment surrounding the German Moreno Studio of GMA Network, it’s nothing the televiewers, even the hosts themselves, have seen before. From the LED screens to the robotic cameras, and modern lights, it definitely serves as an early Christmas gift for the program’s avid fans and supporters all around the world.

We also have new lights and cameras,” he said.

The renovation took a good one-month to complete. Willie was hands-on all throughout the process and he believes that their new set may come close to that of international stages, “Every day, we see many people lining up and hoping for a chance to watch our program. Of course, we want to make more people happy.

The show, which airs Mondays to Fridays before 24 Oras, has more to offer other than its brand-new and world-class set.

Last Sept. 30 during the new studio reveal, Willie launched his two freshlyrecorded songs. Given his signature charisma on stage, the people were delighted as they groove to every lyric.

“Here in Wowowin, gusto natin laging mayroong bagong aabangan ang mga tao.

ang ‘InstaJam’ na mini concert ang hatid na experience to showcase the world-class singing talent of Pinoys,” he shared.

Wowowin has also re-introduced familiar faces to join its family as Sugar Mercado and Donita Nose were warmly welcomed back, joining Herlene Budol a.k.a. “Hipon Girl,” Elaine Timbol and Almira Teng.

The well-loved host reaffirmed his commitment to bring quality entertainment and happiness to Filipinos worldwide,

I really want to make sure that only the best ang ibibigay ng Wowowin sa ating mga Kapuso. The man who green-lighted the renovation only wanted nothing but the best for all the loyal viewers who make Wowowin part of their everyday habit.
