Lockton Legacy Awards accepts entries until Oct 30
The 1st Lockton Philippines Legacy Awards for the Environment – a first of its kind action research-based contest open to all Filipino college students in the country – has extended its deadlines to accommodate the call from universities across the Philippines.
The deadline of submission of entries is on Oct. 30.
Participating groups are required to submit an evaluative, analytical, investigative action research that suggests better practices for business to operate. The Legacy Awards is open to teams of 3 to 5 college students, currently enrolled in a BA/BS program in any Philippine tertiary education institution. Each team is required to have one faculty adviser who is duly recognized by their school.
Winning entries will be announced in November, with the possibility of collaborating with partner companies to have the proposals implemented. The awards program is selecting winners from Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao, and special award categories alongside the over-all Grand Prize to encourage participation of more schools outside the metro. Cash prizes up to P1 million are to be awarded to the winning student groups, faculty advisors, and schools.
