With TLC having recently launched a Bakelicious month of May, bakers’ cake masterpieces are up and beyond, making us all wish we had one. Don’t fret, here are five cake artists that will make your wildest cake dreams come true.
OC’S KITCHEN
With amazing techniques in the use of fondant, Anna Ocampo Sarmiento’s cakes are, without a doubt, out of this world. An architect by profession, she is able to create gravitydefying cakes and beautifully sculpted masterpieces. Her proudest designs include the frontliner cake.

From creating cakes inspired by crowd-favorite shows and mov- ies to bringing the cutest characters to cake life, The Bunny Baker, comprised of a team of cake artists, can do absolutely anything.

Swell Sweets is known to have the most expressive cakes through technique and creativity with icing and fondant, creating any object or character your mind can think of! Gel Colet creates amazing cakes that are fit to be the centerpieces of any special occasion. One of her greatest designs is the Typewriter cake, which won third place in a Hong Kong Cake Decorating competition in 2014.

Melissa Pedreña is dangerous with frosting and fondant, whipping up different volumes of style. Her designs are minimalist with a touch of understated elegance, with every element placed strategically and intuitively.
