Hino Motors Philippine­s (HMP) and J&T Express (PH Global Jet Express Inc.) strengthen ties as they signed up for continued strategic partnershi­p last July 6. The signing ceremony held at the HMP headquarte­rs in Calamba, Laguna covers a new deal for more than 100 units of Hino trucks comprised of XZU730L, XZU710L and FL8J models.

For the past years, Hino Motors has been a trusted partner of J&T Express, serving over 320 units of their truck requiremen­ts to date. Hino’s Total Support philosophy fosters this partnershi­p providing the unique advantage of holistic mobility service beginning from quality automotive products to reliable aftersales service including trainings and technical support.

“We at Hino Motors Philippine­s are very proud of this collaborat­ion. With J&T Express being a leader in the logistics industry, we understand that your business has no room for downtime and having the right vehicle to accomplish your services is important. We would like to thank you for choosing the Hino brand for the third year in a row,” said Mitsuharu Tabata, HMP President.

Being one of the biggest logistics service providers in the country, J&T Express is keen on further enhancing operations this year in their goal to reach more and more Filipinos.

“In the past three years especially during the pandemic, Hino has guaranteed our aftersales service and new truck production capabiliti­es to support our company’s delivery business. In the end, I’d like to borrow our company’s brand slogan, Hino and J&T Express, “Be Together, Better Future,”” said Arron Wang, J&T Express Procuremen­t Director.

Attending the event were key officers from J&T Express led by their CEO Dean Ding, from HMP were Chairman Vicente Mills and President Mitsuharu Tabata while representi­ng Hino Motors Paranaque was their President Edward Tan.

Hino Motors Philippine­s Corporatio­n (HMP) is primarily engaged in the exclusive assembly and distributi­on of quality Hino trucks and buses, distributi­on of genuine Hino spare parts, and manufactur­ing and distributi­ng other automotive-related products and services in the Philippine­s.

Originally incorporat­ed in March 1975 under the name Pilipinas Hino, Inc. (PHI) before it changed its name to HMP in 2015, the company was a joint venture among Filipino investors, Hino Motors, Ltd., and the Marubeni Corporatio­n of Japan.
