Jalen Hudson and TNT came out with all guns blazing to flatten Terrafirma, 131-109, and make it three straight in the PBA Governors’ Cup last night at the MOA Arena.

Three days after his 56-point scorcher, Hudson rifled in 36 markers on an eyepopping 12-of-15 (80-percent) clip as he anchored the searing TNT bombardment against the Dyip that led to its fifth win in six starts.

Hudson’s hot touch was well complemented by Mikey Williams’ 26 points off a 9-of-15 (60-percent) marksmanship, RR Pogoy’s 16, Calvin Oftana’s 15 plus 10 boards and Kelly Williams’ 10.

Overall, Jojo Lastimosa’s on-target troops converted 48 of their 85 attempts on the floor for 56.5 percent.

Not surprisingly, TNT turned in the highest scoring output in the conference so far, eclipsing Converge’s 130 in its 15-point demolition of the Dyip last Jan. 26.

“Anybody can score in our team. For as long as we share the ball, we’re going to get good looks and if we get good looks, I think we can finish shots,” said Lastimosa.

In the nightcap, Converge dealt San Miguel Beer its first loss, 107-103, to draw level with the Beermen and Tropang Giga at 5-1.

Jamaal Franklin hit a dagger floater to highlight his 37-point performance while Justin Arana made the insurance freebies after a key defensive stop to seal it for the FiberXers.
