Raging Bulls roar in Lamborghini ‘Bull Run’

LAMBORGHINI CLUB PH MEMBERS BRAVE THE ELEMENTS IN LATEST EDITION OF ICONIC DRIVING EVENT

-

Lamborghini super sport cars and SUVs braved the driving rain at the recent “Bull Run,” an event in which Lamborghini Club Philippines members get to experience the thrills of their Raging Bulls and express their passion for the brand.

Organized by Lamborghini Philippines, the first Bull Run of the year saw one of the largest collections of Lamborghini Urus, Huracán and Aventador models, including special and limited-edition varieties like the Huracán STO and Aventador SVJ Roadster, in one gathering. Adding more interest to the lineup were the Gallardo and Murcielago in attendance.

The herd took off from Petron Dasmariñas Village — a popular destination for supercar and sports car enthusiasts — and romped on the South Luzon Expressway before looping back to Metro Manila toward the new PGA Cars Studio.

PGA Cars Studio on EDSA Greenhills is a first-of-its-kind concept space featuring the best cars, fine cuisine and other curated experiences in one luxurious venue. Here, a huge surprise awaited the Bull Run participants — the unveiling of the new Lamborghini Urus Performante.

Over breakfast at PGA Cars Studio, Lamborghini Philippines President and CEO Roberto Coyiuto III and Automobili Lamborghini Head of South East Asia Raffaele Garribba — who steered the Bull Run aboard a Lamborghini Huracán EVO — presented the new Lamborghini Urus Performante to the guests. Lamborghini Club Philippines President Frederick Siy led in expressing the members’ enthusiasm over this ultimate version of the super sports SUV.

The new Lamborghini Urus Performante’s design emphasizes its prowess on street, track and loose surfaces. It presently holds the production SUV record in the Pikes Peak hill climb event with a time of 10:32.064. In his presentation, Garribba noted the Urus set a new standard when it was launched, and the Urus Performante sets the bar in terms of performance and fun-to-drive factor even higher.

The new Lamborghini Urus Performante is lighter, lower, and has a wider track. Its power output has increased to 666 hp while a new differential optimizes the distribution of 850 Nm of torque between the axles. With improved aerodynamics, the super sports SUV sprints from rest to 100 km/h in 3.3 seconds, and can reach a top speed of 306 km/h.

Also reengineered are its Strada, Sport and Corsa drive modes. Added to these is Rally, which elevates the super sport SUV’s fun-to-drive dynamics to a thrilling new level on terrain with low grip — like rain-soaked expressways and city streets.
