Challenge any road: 100% electric Porsche Taycan Cross Turismo now in PH
PORSCHE’S FIRST CROSSOVER UTILITY VEHICLE BOASTS LARGER CABIN AND SUSPENSION ADAPTABLE TO ALL TERRAINS
Porsche expands the capabilities of its highly successful 100% electric Taycan range with the new Taycan Cross Turismo. Billed as the brand’s first Cross Utility Vehicle (CUV), the 5-door Taycan Cross Turismo brings a high-tech, all-terrain chassis to renowned Porsche driving dynamics. This more versatile model now adds to Porsche Philippines’ Taycan range.
Further making the new 100% electric Porsche Taycan Cross Turismo a genuine all-rounder vehicle are adaptive air suspension that raises ride height while still ensuring uncompromising dynamics off-road, an additional 36 millimeters of headroom for rear-seat passengers, and a cargo bay that can offer up to 1,200 liters of space that is accessed through a large tailgate.
The additional room at the back of the Porsche Taycan Cross Turismo comes from its reshaped rear end, which fuses an SUV’s practical form with the Taycan four-door coupe’s sleek silhouette. Offroad design elements of the new CUV include wheel arch trims, protective front and rear aprons, and side sills.
Visually, the Taycan Cross Turismo closely follows the design of Porsche’s Mission E Cross Turismo concept study whose shape is defined by a sporty front with muscular fenders, and a sloping roofline that unmistakably comes from the Porsche 911 DNA. Clearly identifying the Taycan Cross Turismo as a member of the expanding Taycan family are rectangular headlights flanked by vertical air intakes.
The introduction of the 100% electric Taycan Cross Turismo once more represents Porsche’s spearheading drive toward sustainable mobility. The company targets half of all new vehicles it will deliver in 2025 to be electrified — either fully electric or plug-in hybrid.
In the Philippines, the 100% electric Porsche Taycan has been one of the bestselling models since it was launched in the country in 2020. In choosing the Taycan, local customers cite not just the Porsche Taycan’s dynamic sports car performance, but also its suitability for daily use, long driving range, and the convenience offered by home and destination charging solutions. Other key benefits customers note are their huge savings on fuel prices, as well as the Taycan’s exemption from the plate number-coding scheme because of its electric powertrain.
With the arrival of the Taycan Cross Turismo, Porsche Philippines declares anew that the future of mobility is happening now, and charges up its leading position in providing the domestic market with 100% electric vehicles.
