2GO expands retail footprint, opens 100th store

2GO, the Sy-led transporta­tion and logistics solutions provider, has expanded its retail footprint to hit its 100th store.

The company, now part of SM Investment­s Corp. (SMIC), opened its new retail store at the Greenhills Shopping Center, extending its services closer to consumers, entreprene­urs and nearby residents.

A 2GO retail store serves as a one-stop destinatio­n, offering a wide array of 2GO services including ticket purchases for 2GO Travel and travel-related services; document and parcel deliveries through 2GO Express and FedEx and other services including package pick-up, cargo logistics and forwarding services.

2GO president and CEO Frederic DyBuncio said the company’s retail stores are strategica­lly positioned to support and encourage nationwide business opportunit­ies.

“Through our network, Filipino entreprene­urs anywhere in the country can effortless­ly showcase and distribute premium local products both nationwide and globally,” he said.

Blessie Cruz, business unit head for 2GO Retail, said the expansion at Greenhills Shopping Center is strategic because it is known for being a thriving hub for small businesses.

The shopping center is also host to a vibrant community of online sellers offering a diverse range of merchandis­e, from clothing to gadgets, and more.

“With 2GO’s presence, business owners in the vicinity can effortless­ly ship their products worldwide,” Cruz said.

2GO has a nationwide retail network of almost 3,000 outlets of company owned stores and retail partners through SM Business Centers, Alfamart, Waltermart, Fax Parcel and Print, Savemore and accredited agents.
