‘24 Oras’ emerges as Phl's No. 1 TV show in 2023

“24 Oras,” GMA Integrated News’ award-winning flagship newscast emerged as the Philippine­s’ No. 1 TV program in 2023.

Based on Nielsen TV Audience Measuremen­t data from January to December 2023, “24 Oras” bested all other shows, becoming the most watched TV program in Total Philippine­s (combined Urban and Rural). It tallied a combined people rating of 14.7 percent across GMA, GTV, I Heart Movies, and Pinoy Hits channels.

Bringing the latest news, breaking stories, as well as the biggest events here and abroad, on “24 Oras” are award-winning anchors Mel Tiangco, Vicky Morales, and Emil Sumangil.

Segment host Iya VillanaAre­llano provides viewers with the latest entertainm­ent news and updates via “Chika Minute.” The public discovers new knowledge and stories behind phenomena with Kuya Kim Atienza’s trivia segment, “#KuyaKimAno­Na.” In “Game Changer,” GMA Synergy sportscast­er Martin Javier features the latest trends and discoverie­s on fitness, lifestyle, technology, and anything that can change the pace of everyday life.

The most-watched TV program recently presented Pia Arcangel’s exclusive interview with President Ferdinand Marcos, Jr. where he talked about issues on charter change and traffic situation, among others.

“24 Oras” anchor Vicky Morales also had an exclusive interview with the Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste President, His Excellency José RamosHorta,

during his state visit to the Philippine­s last November.

Together with the entire GMA Integrated News teams, “24 Oras” delivered live and exclusive reports straight from the Middle East during the IsraelHama­s conflict last November.

“24 Oras” airs weeknights at 6:30 p.m. GMA with simulcast on GTV, I Heart Movies, and Pinoy Hits.
