Security Bank unveils new credit card

-

Security Bank Corp. recently unveiled its newest credit card product that offer one of the lowest interest rate, waived annual fees and an attractive rewards program.

With the Security Bank Wave Mastercard, customers can enjoy an interest rate of only 2.5 percent - one of the lowest among credit cards in the Philippines.

The Wave Mastercard also rewards customers with a one percent cash back on all online purchases including shopping, dining, and travel, to name a few.

Named with an intentional play on words, the Security Bank Wave Mastercard waves goodbye to annual fees, restrictive interest rates, and unsustainable materials.

“At Security Bank, we’re always looking for innovative ways to deliver on our Better-Banking promise, providing the best banking and customer service experiences. That’s why we’re proud to introduce the Security Bank Wave Mastercard, a credit card designed to meet the needs and preferences of today’s savvy, budget and environmentally conscious customers,” Security Bank president and CEO Sanjiv Vohra said.

The benefits make the Wave Mastercard a lifestyle companion that helps customers save money, earn rebates, and protect the environment.

Featuring a dynamic wave design, the Wave Mastercard is not only visually appealing but also designed to meet the growing demand for ecoconscious commerce.

“One of the most unique aspects of the Security Bank Wave Mastercard is that it’s our first credit card made of 100 percent recycled PVC, as certified by the ICMA Ecolabel Standard,” Security Bank retail banking segment head Rahul Rasal said.

“We’ve curated benefits that align with what our customers want. Simply put, our Security Bank Wave Mastercard is far more than just a no-annual-fee credit card,” he added.

As sweetener, customers that apply until March 5 enjoy a free P2,000 eGC when approved.

Security Bank’s credit card billings jumped by almost 50 percent to P76 billion in 2023 as the card in force surged by 30 percent to a little over 500,000.
