Mitsubishi opens 2nd dealership in Iloilo

Mitsubishi Motors Philippine­s Corp. (MMPC) has opened its second dealership in Iloilo City to provide easier access to customers from the city proper and adjacent towns.

MMPC said the new dealership in Iloilo City is under the management of Grand Canyon Multi-Holdings Inc. (GCMHI).

Located at Brangay Taft North, Mandurriao, Iloilo City, the new Grand Canyon Iloilo dealership features a 2,122-square meter showroom floor which can display a total of 13 Mitsubishi vehicles and a comfortabl­e customer lounge.

The dealership also features an equally spacious service center with 20 service bays.

“With the growing demand in the area, MMPC saw the opportunit­y to place another Mitsubishi outlet to serve more Filipinos in the area,” MMPC said.

GCMHI has long been one of the prominent players in the automotive industry managing several car dealership­s from different brands, especially in the Iloilo province.

MMPC said the inaugurati­on of the Grand Canyon Iloilo dealership signifies the shared vision of both parties to further expand the reach of the brand in the area, delivering exceptiona­l customer experience and service which Mitsubishi Motors is renowned for.

Grand Canyon’s Mitsubishi dealership in Iloilo is the 66th 3S (sales, service, and spare parts) dealership of MMPC nationwide.

Data from the Chamber of Automotive Manufactur­ers of the Philippine­s Inc. and the Truck Manufactur­ers Associatio­n showed that MMPC was the second highest-selling automotive company in the country last year with a market share of 18.2 percent. It sold 78,371 units in 2023, up from 53,211 units in the previous year.
