The Federation of Filipino Chinese Chambers of Commerce and Industry Inc. (FFCCCII) has invited investors and business leaders worldwide to explore investment opportunities in the Philippines in line with the 70th anniversary celebration of the alliance on March 9.

FFCCCII president Cecilio Pedro said through the invitation, the federation hopes to attract more foreign investments, spur international trade, and boost tourism.

“As FFCCCII reaches the auspicious milestone of seven decades of public service, our celebration not only commemorates the past but portends a future defined by resilience, unity, compassion, social idealism and a collective commitment to the economic growth and prosperity of the Philippines,’’ Pedro said.

The FFCCCII official said 14 business delegations from Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, United Kingdom, China, Myanmar, Vietnam, Australia, Macau, South Korea, Indonesia, Canada, Japan and Thailand have confirmed attendance to visit the Philippines on March 9.

Pedro said the federation is optimistic about Philippine economic growth despite global uncertainties such as recessions in some industrialized countries and geopolitical tensions that include wars in Ukraine and the Middle East.

The FFCCCII president also stressed the need for continued national unity, stability and socioeconomic reforms to sustain economic growth and create a more inclusive economy.

Pedro said the federation remains steadfast in its optimism about the country’s robust economic growth for this year.

“This optimism is anchored in national unity, focus on sustained socioeconomic reforms, and maintaining social and political stability, “he said.

FFCCCII is the umbrella federation of 170 Filipino Chinese chambers of commerce and diverse industry associations nationwide.
