- By RICHMOND MERCURIO

Following the success of the company’s first leisure property in Batangas, Consunjiled DMCI Homes is developing an eco-agri mountain resort condotel in the town of Tuba, Benguet.

The company targets to launch the property, which will be under the sub-brand DMCI Homes Leisure Residences, by the second quarter.

DMCI Homes vice president for project development Dennis Yap is optimistic on the potential of the upcoming project, citing Tuba’s emerging popularity as a tourist destination.

The company is targeting to build on Tuba’s potential to develop an eco-agri mountain resort condotel “that goes beyond mere accommodation.” “With our seasoned in-house architects and engineers, we aim to create a condotel that embodies the essence of a true mountain resort by integrating the natural terrain with modern Filipino architecture,” Yap said.

A first-class municipality, Tuba serves as a gateway to Baguio City and is renowned for its cool weather, landscapes and thriving eco-agri ventures.

“Being conveniently located near Baguio City, Tuba is fast becoming a favorite among travelers for its equally cool weather and captivating mountain landscapes. The possibilities for eco-agri ventures are also promising,” Yap said.

He said Tuba stands to benefit from increased investment and infrastructure, positioning it as a prime location for investors.

DMCI Homes launched Solmera Coast, its first leisure project, in August 2023.

The project captured the interest of both investors and beach enthusiasts, being the only tropical Asian-inspired beach park condotel in San Juan, Batangas.
