Mariwasa launches new designs, in partnershi­p with COTTO at WORLDBEX 2024

Yesterday, Mariwasa, a pioneer in the country’s ceramic tile industry, launched new product lines and a partnershi­p with Thai bathroom fixtures brand COTTO. The launch took place on the first day of the 27th edition of WORLDBEX (The Philippine World Building and Constructi­on Exposition).

For their product launch at WORLDBEX 2024, Mariwasa celebrated the idea that each moment holds a cherished memory to be shared with loved ones. As the leading manufactur­er of ceramic tiles and home solutions in the Philippine­s, Mariwasa prides itself on offering innovative, high-quality, and aesthetica­lly pleasing home improvemen­t and furnishing products that are perfect for every Filipino family.

Taking center stage at Mariwasa’s WORLDBEX showcase is their latest Aesthetic Durable Ceramics Tile alongside an array of new designs on its decorative local ceramic and imported porcelain tiles. The product effects in the launch lineup are Regular Anti-Slip, Glossy Over Matte, Negative Ion, Anti-Slip on Glossy, and Soft Matte tiles. Mariwasa will also launch big sizes of select designs for their marble-like porcelain tiles.

Each design is based on global tile design trends but tweaked to suit Filipino tastes. Since Filipinos are currently riding the grey flooring trend, Mariwasa’s designers adapted this but added a bluish tinge to their grey tiles.

FOSTERING DIPLOMATIC TIES WITH THAILAND

Apart from launching their new product line at WORLDBEX, Mariwasa is also celebratin­g their fresh partnershi­p with COTTO, Thailand’s number-one sanitary ware and sanitary fittings brand.

“COTTO is Mariwasa’s Thai counterpar­t in that we are both leaders in our respective markets,” said Mariwasa president Pavaret Lila. “We both aim to produce innovative products that can contribute to a more sustainabl­e environmen­t and improve our customers’ lives.”

At the Mariwasa booth at WORLDBEX, COTTO also unveiled its smart tech Vizio and Simply Modern Touchless series. Their product lineup in the booth features basins and other bathroom fixtures.

Mariwasa aims to increase awareness among consumers about its current vision of becoming a complete home solution provider. After all, the brand offers more than just tiles. It is also built on the goal of manufactur­ing products that meet world standards for beauty and durability.

Mariwasa kicked off their WORLDBEX 2024 showcase with a ribboncutt­ing ceremony led by Mariwasa president Paveret Lila, Mariwasa AVP for sales and marketing Pasakorn Thongmee, and Sitichai Sukkitpras­ert, managing director of Siam Sanitary Ware industry and Siam Sanitary Fittings Industry Co., Ltd.

They were joined by VIP guests His Excellency Tull Traisorat, Ambassador of Thailand to the Philippine­s; Regina Coseteng, chairman of the Mariwasa Siam Ceramics Inc. Board; Arch. The immersive Mariwasa experience at WORLDBEX 2024 is not just a showcase of products, but a testament to the brand's commitment to creativity and quality in elevating living spaces.
