Firms engaged in information technology and business process management (IT-BPM) topped this year’s list of the best places to work in the country.

Synchrony Global Services Philippines, a subsidiary company that manages Synchrony’s call center operations and select back office support, once again placed first in Great Place to Work’s list of Best Workplaces in the Philippines in the large category or those with 1,000 or more employees.

This was followed by Accenture in second place, and TaskUs, which got the third spot.

In the medium category or those with 100 to 999 employees, DHL Express Philippines, a leader in the logistics industry, topped the list.

IT firm Cisco placed second, followed by Hilton, which is engaged in the hospitality industry in third place.

As for the small category or those with 30 to 99 employees, Kollab, a provider of cloud-first solutions and services, got the top spot.

IT product specialist company ECo Global Consulting Inc. remained in the second spot, while Limitless Connect, which specializes in contact center solutions, clinched the third place.

Now in its fifth year, the Best Workplaces in the Philippines list is curated from responses of over 600,000 employees across 200 different certified organizations in the Philippines.

IT and Business Process Association of the Philippines president and CEO Jack Madrid told reporters that over half of the awardees are from the IT-BPM industry.

“It is really more of a celebration and recognition of the globally important and meaningful jobs that we provide our global customers,” he said.

He said many of the ITBPM firms have been recognized as great places to work for many years, which shows the importance of the ability of organizations to listen to employees.
