- By EMMANUEL TUPAS

A police official facing criminal cases for allegedly documenting his sexual encounters with a woman could face more complaints after another victim has come forward against him.

The second victim, a 32-year-old woman working in a government agency, accused the senior police official of blackmailing her with sensitive photographs and videos.

The victim lodged a complaint against the official before the Philippine National Police (PNP) in February in response to the latter’s threats.

In her complaint, the victim said the official was her ex-boyfriend who had in his possession copies of her private photos and videos. She did not go into details on why they broke up.

The victim sought the PNP’s assistance after she started receiving threats on Facebook from a woman claiming to be the PNP official’s wife.

According to the victim, the official’s alleged wife vowed to expose her sensitive pictures and videos if she will not pay money that she reportedly borrowed from the former.

The official’s alleged wife threatened to visit the victim’s parents.

The victim is considering filing criminal charges against the police official and the person claiming to be his wife.

The official’s other victim, a woman with whom he had an illicit affair for several years, had asked PNP chief Gen. Rommel Francisco Marbil to take action and place the suspect under restrictive custody.

In her letter to Marbil dated April 8, the woman said the official should be removed from the police service because he is unfit to be a police officer.

The woman said her daughter, who saw her sex video with the official, has been suffering from anxiety and no longer wants to go to school.
