Jerrold Tarog responds to netizen who says Darna costume should not be a bikini
Jerrold Tarog responded to a netizen who made suggestions regarding the Darna costume of Liza Soberano.
A Twitter user using the handle @lcros186 asked Direk Jerrold to design a costume that was not "cheap" and to make Liza's costume like Wonder Woman.
The netizen wrote: "Direk gandahan po nio wag ung chippy chippy lang ha tagal nmin hinintay yan e. At pls wag padadala s dikta ng d nakakatulong s project. At yung custume po wag nmn bikini millenial n po tayo like wonder woman nag iba n din custume sexy pero d bastusin. Praying for u po"
Direk Jerrold responded by saying that he will have to consult the owner of the intellectual property when it comes to the costume of Darna.
"Will do my best. Yung costume let's see kung anong requirements ng may ari ng intellectual property. Also, masarap ang chippy although mas Tortillos akong tao."
Film producer Melai Entuna teased Direk Jerrold about his upcoming schedule by asking:
"@JerroldTarog may target shooting dates na po #Darna? Hahaha chos"
Direk Jerrold then pointed out that he still has to study the numerous scripts of "Darna" that were presented to him.
"Haha. Chill lang po. Binabasa ko pa ang scripts (oo, plural). Aaralin pa ang diskarte. Tsaka madami pang 'Goyo' things na aasikasuhin. Miss you po."
