JAEGER- LECOULTRE POL ARIS MEMOVOX

-

The first Polaris Memovox from 1968 was originally a dive watch with an alarm that alerted its wearer when it was time to resurface. More than 50 years later, the modern Memovox has adapted to a more urban lifestyle, taking on a dressier appearance while keeping the alarm function. This makes it quite a bit useful for tight schedules around the city, but also for reminding you of what you’re supposed to be doing during the wedding. The alarm is set and wound by turning the first crown, and the alarm time is indicated by the small triangle in the middle of the dial. Once it goes off, it sounds a bit like an oldfashioned rotary phone. The middle crown is used to adjust the internal bezel (that’s the small scale with the minutes), so you can use it to time things. You rotate the bezel’s 12 o’clock marker to where the minutes hands is currently pointed, and you can use the minute indicators on the bezel to see how much time has elapsed since you set it.
