LiberaL Professions tournament

The CG Engineers (CGENG) revalidated late in October its title as winner of the Liberal Professions tournament. With added responsibilities, as it was the bearer of the title, CGENG built a solid team, both in singles and in pairs, which allowed it to win the 19th edition of the tournament, played at the Aroeira 2 course. With a total of 338,5 points, obtained by the sum of the four best singles results (stableford net), added to the sum of the three best pairs (fourball better ball), multiplied by a factor of 1.5, the CGENG won with a clear 13 points advantage over second place, Economists (325,5).The Doctors were third (308,5), followed by the Architects (308), Farmacists (296,5) and Lawyers (286,5). This was the third victory by the Engineers in the last four editions of the competition, that has been dominated by the CG Economists. O Clube de Golfe dos Engenheiros (CGENG ) revalidou no final de outubro último o título de vencedor do torneio das profissões liberais. Com responsabilidades acrescidas, pois era o atual detentor deste troféu, o CGENG constituiu uma equipa sólida, quer na componente individual, quer na componente de pares, que lhe permitiu sagrar-se vencedor da 19ª edição deste torneio,que decorreu no campo de golfe da Aroeira I. Com um total de 338,5 pontos, obtidos pela soma dos quatro melhores resultados individuais (stabelford net), adicionados à soma dos resultados dos três melhores pares (four ball better ball), multiplicados por um factor de 1.5, o CGENG venceu destacado com 13 pontos de avanço sobre os segundos classificados, os Economistas, que totalizaram 325,5 pontos. Os Médicos fecharam o pódio, num torneio que contou ainda com a presença de Arquitectos (308 pontos), Farmacêuticos (296,5) e Advogados (286,5). Foi a terceira vitória do CGENG, nas últimas quatro edições desta competição, que tem sido dominado pelo Clube de Golfe dos Economistas.
