We prepared a special edition for you. The return of the Portugal Open that, after a seven year break, will be returning to the European Tour for its 55th edition deserves no less. Therefore, don’t think it strange that on the cover, instead of just one Portuguese golfer, there are ten players. They, and a few more, that at press time were still trying to qualify, are the ones that fill our hopes for victory at the fabulous Morgado Golf Course, the venue of this year’s Open. We were there before the competitors, and we tell you how the preparation of the course was done. We also tell you the story of one of the most historic of all European tournaments. And talking of history, what to say about this year’s masters? Preparamos uma edição especial para si. O regresso do Open de Portugal, que após sete anos de ausência, regressa ao European Tour para cumprir a sua 55.ª edição, não merecia menos. Por isso, não estranhe que na capa, em vez de um golfista português – como habitualmente trazemos – apareça uma dezena. São esses, e mais alguns que à hora que esta edição foi para a gráfica, ainda não estavam apurados, que fazem as nossas esperanças para o entusiasmante percurso do Morgado Golf Resort, palco do Open deste ano. Estivemos lá antes de chegarem as estrelas, e contamos nestas páginas como foi feita a preparação do campo. Recordamos também a história daquele que é um dos mais históricos torneios europeus.
