Qualifying tournaments throughout the country and qualifying rounds played at Aroeeira 1 determined the forty teams that are to play the great final of the 2017 Benfica Corporate Golf Cup on July 1st. This is the 4th edition of the corporate circuit, played to Texas Scramble rules, by two player teams. In the qualifying stage, which offers an excellent package of prizes, including a fabulous trip to the Dominican Republic for the winning team and two Executive Seats at the Stadium of Light for the 2017/2018 season, for the winning corporation. Corporationss, institutions, organizations, clubs and various other entities have participated in this competition that is already a benchmark in national golf and that, for this year’s edition, qualifies the winning team for a slot in the Caribbean Golf trophy, to be played in September in the Dominican Republic. Maxcom, the winner of the 2016 edition, was the highlight of this qualifying stage, by winning the gross and net scores on its qualifying day. Romuald le Bellec, who last year played with Nuno Rocha dos Santos, in this edition, and because he was unavailable, teamed up with his father, Jean Marie le Bellec, attaining 36 points gross and 44 net. A great day of golf for the Le Bellec family. Aroeira 2 will host the grand finale on July 1st where the winner will be decided by Strokeplay, with Maxcom defending the title attained in the last edition.
Torneios de apuramento por todo o país e eliminatórias disputadas no Aroeira I, definiram as 40 equipas que no dia 1 de Julho disputarão a grande final da Benfica Corporate Golf Cup 2017. É a 4ª edição desta prova para Empresas, disputada na modalidade Texas Scramble, na fase de apuramento, por equipas de 2 jogadores, e que proporciona um excelente conjunto de prémios, de onde se destaca uma fabulosa viagem à Republica Dominicana para a equipa vencedora e 2 Executive Seats no Estádio da Luz, época 2017/18, para a respectiva empresa. Quadros de empresas, instituições, organizações, clubes e as mais variadas entidades colectivas, marcaram presença nesta que é já uma prova referência no golfe nacional e que, no caso da edição deste ano, proporciona à equipa vencedora a participação no Caribbean Golf Trophy, a disputar em Setembro, na Republica Dominicana. A Maxcom, vencedora da edição 2016, foi o grande destaque desta fase de eliminatórias, ao vencer as classificações Gross e Net no seu dia de apuramento. Romuald le Bellec, que no ano passado alinhou com Nuno Rocha dos Santos, nesta edição, por impossibilidade deste, fez dupla com o seu pai, Jean Marie le Bellec, conseguindo 36 pontos Gross e 44 Net. Um grande dia de golfe para a família le Bellec! O Aroeira II será palco para a grande final de 1 de julho, onde, na modalidade Strokeplay se discutirá a vitória, com a Maxcom a defender o título alcançado na última edição.
