A dupla vencedora do torneio, que foi jogado em betterball, terminou a edição 2017 da Taça José Ribeiro da Cunha o resultado de 57+61=118 (-20). No segundo lugar, ficaram José Sousa e Melo e Salvador Brehm com 63+57=120(-18), e a fechar o pódio ficou o par Finn Kastrup / Pedro Palmares (61+61=122). Destaque ainda para Teresa Matta, que fez um hole in one no 16. O percurso deste tradicional clube lisboeta, recebeu ainda em maio o 10º Internacional de Seniores de Portugal. Uma prova disputada durante três que foi conquistada por Clive Jones, com +9. O melhor português foi José Sousa e Melo, que terminou em sétimo, com +17, vencendo a prova em Net. Em pares, David Shields e Nick Robson, foram os vencedores, com a melhor dupla portuguesa a ser Visconde de Pereira Machado/José Sousa e Melo, que terminou no quinto posto.
