Race to Azores tournament

The fourth event of the Race to the Azores, the Tranqulidade/ Confinvest tournament, organized by the Quinta das Lágrimas Golf Club, took place on the well tended Curia course with 23 teams. Great weather and impeccable greens allowed for great results, with the net victory falling onto a pairs of young players. The “marvel” pair, trained at the Quinta das Lágrimas academy (run by Nuno Barreto) was made up of José Augusto and Guilherme Laureano, who attained 49 points net. The first one also won closest to the pin and longest drive. Gross winner was the pair Nuno Espírito Santo/Rui Castro. A 4ª prova Race to Açores, Torneio Tranquilidade / Confinvest, organizada pelo Clube de Golfe da Quinta das Lágrimas, foi disputada no bem tratado campo da Curia por 23 equipas. Ótimo tempo e uns greens impecáveis, permitiram muito bons resultados, com a vitória abonada a sorrir a uma dupla de jovens. A dupla maravilha, ‘made in’ academia Quinta das Lágrimas, dirigida por Nuno Barreto, é composta por José Augusto e Guilherme Laureano, que conseguiram 49 pontos. O primeiro, açambarcou também o longest e o nearest. Em Gross, o par Hugo Espirito Santo e Rui Castro fez valer o mais baixo handicap em prova (4) e venceu com toda a naturalidade com 38 pontos.
