The Clube de Golf dos Arquitectos went to neighboring Spain on June 29, in a party that brought together members, guests, sponsors and social media for this year edition of the celebrated Iberian Cup. Competition that puts the Portuguese and Spanish architects face to face. The competitive part, organized by the Spanish architects, fell on the Boadilla del Monte Golf Course, located within the Financial City of Banco Santander, at the gates of the city of Madrid. The Portuguese team arrived at this event with two victories up, but this time was surprised by a well organized Spanish formation that did not give pause to the Portuguese pairs. The Portuguese team returned home without the cup but with the belief that next year, in Portugal, the result of the match play will be different. Shortly after the formation of the Iberian Cup, the remaining teams competed on the parallel tournament with Spanish and Portuguese players, which also ran with a high level of competition. OClube de Golf dos Arquitectos rumou à vizinha Espanha, a 29 de Junho, numa comitiva que juntou sócios, convidados, patrocinadores e comunicação social, para a disputa de mais uma edição da já célebre Copa Ibérica. Competição que coloca frente a frente os arquitectos portugueses e espanhóis. A parte competitiva, de organização dos arquitectos espanhóis, recaiu sobre o campo de Golfe Boadilla del Monte, situado dentro da Cidade Financeira do Banco Santander, às portas da cidade de Madrid. A equipa portuguesa chegou a esta prova com duas vitórias up, mas desta vez foi surpreendida por uma bem organizada formação espanhola que não deu tréguas aos pares portugueses. Voltou a equipa portuguesa a casa sem a taça mas com a crença de que no próximo ano, em Portugal, o resultado do “match play” se inverta. Logo a seguir às formações da Copa Ibérica alinharam-se as restantes formações para disputarem o torneio paralelo, com jogadores espanhóis e portugueses, que decorreu também com alto nível competitivo, tendo o prémio gross ficado em Espanha e o 1º lugar net sócio CGA vindo para Portugal.

Contextualizando a sua formação na área criativa e tecnológica a comitiva foi a Alhama de Áragon visitar uma indústria associada à Trilux, dentro da área das novas tecnologias de iluminação. Verificou-se que os dois pontos de trabalho desta empresa congregam entre si mais de metade da massa salarial deste “Pueblo”, sendo que os restantes vivem do turismo proveniente das águas termais. Como já vem sendo habitual o apoio anual da Roca e a visita ao seu fantástico showroom em Madrid, com as novidades de 2017 patentes para serem vistas em detalhe, foi uma vez mais um sucesso. É de realçar que este é um ano emblemático para a marca Roca pelo seu centésimo aniversário. A festa de entrega dos prémios foi desta vez realizada no último andar de um edifício em reabilitação, localizado numa das artérias mais movimentadas de Madrid, a Grand Via. Lugar excelente pela vista magnifica para diversos sectores da cidade, pela história do edifício, que foi baleado no período da Guerra Civil de Espanha e pela forma informal mas de grande qualidade que os arquitectos espanhóis brindaram toda a comitiva portuguesa.
