Monte da Capela wins BenfiCa Corporate Golf Cup

Vasco ferreira and Francisco Julião, qualifying in Capo Real and representing Monte da Capela werte the great winners of the 2017 edition of the Benfica Corporate Golf Cup, after an always exciting play off with the ArtWebDesign, from brothers Carlos Simões e Mário Melo, after both teams turned in cards with 63 strokes net. It just took one hole to decide the winner, after both players of ArtWebDesign missed the second shot, ending with a bogey, enough to beat the par attained by the winning team. Third place, three strokes away, went to team Belas 2 – Nuno Silva and Andre Benvegnu, with 65 strokes. The Madeiran team representing Golfe Portugal & Islands – Lara Vieira and Miguel Silva – who was in third place newt, with the same points as Belas 2, won gross, with 70 strokes, followed by three teams with 71. The 2017 edition of the Benfica Corporate Golf Cup was perfectly in line with the previous editions, and gave winning teams excellent prizes, like the trip to the Dominican Republic, given to the two players of the winning team and where, besides the leisure activities, they are to play the Caribbean Golf Trophy, and the Executive Seats at Estádio da Luz, given to the winning corporation, prizes that, like all the others, were given out during the lunch that took place immediately after the end of the tournament..

Vasco Ferreira e Francisco Julião, apurados em Campo Real e representando a empresa Monte da Capela, foram os grandes vencedores da Edição 2017 da Benfica Corporate Golf Cup, após um sempre excitante play-off com a equipa ArtWebDesign, dos irmãos Carlos Simões e Mário Melo, depois de terem ambos entregue cartões com 63 pancadas Net. Bastou um buraco para se efectuar o desempate, depois de os dois jogadores da ArtWebDesign falharem o segundo shot para o mato, acabando com um Bogey, insuficiente para o Par alcançado pela equipa adversária. Em terceiro lugar, com duas pancadas de diferença, classificou-se a equipa Belas 2, Nuno Silva e André Benvegnu, que com 65 pancadas fechou o pódio. A equipa vinda da Madeira, Golfe Portugal & Islands, Lara Vieira e Miguel Silva, que havia ficado em terceiro lugar Net, com os mesmos pontos da equipa Belas 2, por força dos regulamentos venceu a classificação Gross, onde marcou 70 pancadas, seguida de um conjunto de 3 equipas com 71. A Edição 2017 da Benfica Corporate Golf Cup esteve na linha das anteriores e proporcionou às equipas vencedoras excelentes prémios, com destaque para a viagem à República Dominicana, que premiou os 2 jogadores da equipa vencedora, onde, para além da componente turística, disputarão o Caribbean Golf Trophy, assim como os Executive Seats no Estádio da Luz, destinados à Empresa vencedora, prémios que, em conjunto com muitos outros, foram distribuídos no almoço que se seguiu imediatamente ao fim do torneio.
