The fourth place in the final ranking of the Pro Golf Tour 2017, a German satellite circuit, was more than enough for Pedro Figueiredo to achieve the goal of the season: the promotion for the Challenge Tour, next year. Figgy closed the season with a 16th place tied at the Castanea Resort Championship in Adendorf, Germany, a top-70 ranking reserved tournament. With rounds of 68, 72 and 70, the Benfica golfer finished six under par. Far from the -15 with which the winner, the German amateur Max Schmitt, closed the tournament. The Order of Merit of Pro Golf Tour 2017 was won by German Nicolai Von Dellingshausen, with 29,651 euros in 17 tournaments, followed by Max Schmitt (€ 24,794), Ben Parker (€ 24,410) and Pedro Figueiredo (€ 23,160). Swiss Marco Iten and Czech Stanislav Matus have also secured a place in the 2018 Challenge Tour. The Portuguese played 21 tournaments of this circuit in 2017, obtaining 13 top-10, three second places and two top-3. With the first goal of the season reached, Figgy will now try a place on the European Tour through the Second Stage of the Qualifying School..

Figgy fechou a época com um 16.º lugar empatado no Castanea Resort Championship, em Adendorf, Alemanha, um torneio destinado ao top-70 do ranking. Com voltas de 68, 72 e 70, o golfista do Benfica terminou com seis abaixo do par. Distante dos -15 com que o vencedor, o amador alemão Max Schmitt, encerrou o torneio.
