SYMINGTON CUP

The Lisbon Sports Club, one of the oldest in the country, organized the Symington Cup in September, a medal-net event that was won by João Vietas with 61 strokes. The runner-up was João Soares with 64 strokes. The tournament also counted for the qualification of the Azores Trophy, with the winner now having the opportunity to play the National Final, at the Golf Course of Terceira Island, Azores, on the 21st and 22nd of October, and may invite a partner of their choice.

OLisbon Sports Club, um dos mais antigos do país, organizou em setembro a Symington Cup. Uma prova disputada na modalidade de medal-net, que foi conquistada por João Vietas com 61 pancadas. O vice-campeão foi João Soares com 64 pancadas. O torneio contou também como apuramento para o Troféu Açores, com o vencedor a ter agora a oportunidade de disputar a Final Nacional, no Campo de Golfe da Ilha Terceira, Açores, nos dias 21 e 22 de Outubro, podendo convidar um parceiro à sua escolha.
