GOLFE DAYS AT BOM SUCESSO
The last stage of the 2017 Golf Days Circuit took place in mid-September at the always challenging course of Guardian Bom Sucesso, with Wilson Staff as the main sponsor. This event had as main incentive to find the last eight finalists of the Circuit 2017 and counted with a big presence of members of the home club, as well as several players coming from the most diverse golf courses and national clubs. The West zone gave the participants a magnificent late-summer day where the morning cool made itself felt, but as the morning progressed the conditions were perfect for a game of golf. During the tournament, players received various offers from tournament partners such as Sonatural Juices, Donuts, Red Bull energy drinks among other “gifts”. Regarding the competition, and in addition to the skills awards, the Gross winner with 31 points was Jorge Guerreiro of the Journalists’ Golf Club, contrary to the normal trend of the home players winning this category. In the Category A Net Men victory smiled no Artur Oliveira of Bom Sucesso with 41 points, followed by Edgar Wilson Baptista (ACP Golf) with 40 points, affirming these two players presence in the final of 16 of October. Still in the Men, but in Category B, Victor Braz of Bom Sucesso won with an impressive 41 points was followed by Carlos Alberto Costa (Paço do Lumiar) with 40 points. With only three female participants in the tournament, the victory went to Carolina Chagas of Bom Sucesso with 33 points. Besides all of these players who guaranteed their presence at Oitavos Dunes to play in the final, two more participants contemplated going to the final with drawn cards. They are Gonçalo Copêto and Nelson Santos Godinho.
Aúltima etapa do Circuito Golf Days 2017 realizouse a meio de setembro no sempre desafiante percurso do Guardian Bom Sucesso, prova que contou com a Wilson Staff como patrocinador principal. Esta prova tinha como aliciante principal encontrar os últimos oito finalistas do circuito 2017 e contou com uma presença em força dos sócios do campo, bem como vários jogadores oriundos dos mais diversos campos e clubes nacionais. A zona Oeste brindou os participantes com um magnífico dia de fim de verão onde o fresco matinal se fez sentir, mas com o evoluir da manhã as condições ficaram perfeitas para a prática do jogo. Durante o torneio, os jogadores receberam várias ofertas dos parceiros do torneio como foi o caso de Sumos da Sonatural, Donuts, bebidas energéticas da Red Bull entre outros “mimos”. No que respeita à competição, e para além dos prémios skills, o vencedor Gross com 31 pontos foi Jorge Guerreiro do Clube de Golfe dos Jornalistas, contrariando a tendência normal de serem os jogadores da casa a vencerem esta categoria. Na categoria A Net Homens a vitória sorriu a Artur Oliveira (Bom Sucesso) com 41 pontos seguido de Edgar Wilson Baptista (ACP Golfe) com 40 pontos firmando estes dois jogadores presença na final de 16 de Outubro. Ainda nos Homens, mas na categoria B, mais um jogador da casa a vencer de seu nome Victor Braz com expressivos 41 pontos seguido de Carlos Alberto Costa (Paço do Lumiar) com 40 pontos. Com apenas três participantes femininas em jogo a vitória foi para Carolina Chagas do Bom Sucesso com 33 pontos. Para além de todos estes jogadores terem garantido a sua presença em Oitavos Dunes para disputar a final, mais dois felizes contemplados com cartões de sorteio vão à final. São eles Gonçalo Copêto e Nelson Santos Godinho.
