ALGARVE: GOLF TOURISM
There is an old saying: “After the storm comes the bonanza.” Fortunately, that is what we are seeing in national golf, which in recent years has achieved consistent growth. At the Algarve courses you can hardly talk about low season or high season, few rounds differ from one to another. Are these the golden years for the golf industry? The instability that is felt in different parts of the world has caused many to rethink their holiday destinations. Given that, of all the strengths that our country presents, probably what has had the greatest impact at the moment is the security, allied with the quality, makes us a dream destination. We see the case of the increased demand of the French market, that little by little are leaving North Africa and the Arab Countries. Is it a case to say that “the bad luck of one is the luck of others”? Maybe ... But one thing we know “There is no harm that always lasts or good that never ends”! As such, we must keep pace with these changes, respond to these rising markets by exceeding their expectations so that they choose to return.
