Golfe Abreu
The third stage of the 2018 Abreu Golf Circuit took place at the Estela Golf Club course in early July. The results, once again, were great to live up to the competition of the circuit, and victories very well contested. Highlights of the day for the teams Francisco Sampaio Jr. and Henrique Amorim Faria de Araújo (1st place Net, with 44 points); João Mota Prego and Helder Ferreira (2nd place Net, with 43 points); Manuel Rodrigues and José Alexandre Vidal Pinheiro (1st place Gross, with 34 points). At the end, the teams joined together for pleasant conviviality and lunch to refresh their energy, followed by the awarding of prizes and raffel draws . Estela Golf Club is a golf course located on the coast of Estela, known as Lugar do Rio Alto, in Póvoa de Varzim, Portugal. Created in 1989 by Sopete Golf, the course is now owned by Estela Golf - Sports and Tourism Activities, S.A, and has hosted several national and international competitions. It was therefore a privileged stop for another stage of the Circuito Abreu. This year, continuing the solidarity project of the circuit, 10% of the value of the registrations is donated to IPO Porto. Aterceira etapa do Circuito de Golfe Abreu 2018 aconteceu no campo do Estela Golf Club, no início de julho. Os resultados, mais uma vez, foram ótimos fazendo jus à competitividade do circuito, e as vitórias muito bem disputadas. Destaque do dia para as equipas Francisco Sampaio Jr. e Henrique Amorim Faria de Araújo (1º lugar Net, com 44 pontos); João Mota Prego e Helder Ferreira (2º lugar Net, com 43 pontos); Manuel Rodrigues e José Alexandre Vidal Pinheiro (1º lugar Gross, com 34 pontos). No final, as equipas reúiram-se para um agradável convívio e almoço para repôr energias, seguido da entrega de prémios e sorteios da tômbola para fecho de mais um momento Abreu. A Estela Golf Club é um campo de golfe localizado no litoral da freguesia da Estela, conhecido como Lugar do Rio Alto, na Póvoa de Varzim, em Portugal. Criado em 1989 pela Sopete Golf, o campo é agora propriedade da Estela Golf - Atividades Desportivas e Turísticas, S.A, e tem sid anfitrião de várias competições nacionais e internacionais. Foi por isso palco privilegiado para mais uma etapa do Circuito Abreu. Este ano, dando continuidade ao projeto solidário do circuito, 10% do valor das inscrições revertem a favor do IPO Porto.
