MILLENNIUM BCP
The 5th Tournament of 2018 OM of the Millennium BCP Club took place at the beginning of October on the demanding Ribagolfe I course, with the presence of 64 players, among members and guests. Despite the passage of hurricane Leslie in the metropolitan Lisbon area, the tournament was held without any problems. The day was good for golf, although the wind rose precisely in the middle of the tournament, after 9 holes were played. Between members, Manuel Brigas took the prize for Low Net, 2nd place went to Álvaro Dinis and Ricardo Gomes finished in 3rd place, all tied with 39 points, only their handicaps made the difference in the final results. João Martins was the best player of the day, winning Gross (26 pts), and the best guest was José Sousa Santos with 37 points. The skill prizes were won by David Patrick Gray for longest drive on hole 18 and by José Veiga Ramos the closest to the pin on hole 5. The last OM tournament will be played at Beloura (Sintra) on November 3rd.
O5º Torneio da OM 2018 do Clube Millennium BCP decorreu no início de outubro no exigente campo do Ribagolfe I, com a presença de 64 jogadores, entre sócios e convidados. Apesar da passagem do furação Leslie pela zona da grande Lisboa, o torneio realizou-se sem quaisquer problemas, o dia esteve bom para a prática do golfe, se bem que o vento se levantou precisamente no meio da prova, depois de 9 buracos jogados. Entre os sócios, Manuel Brigas levou o prémio do 1º lugar net, o 2º lugar foi para Álvaro Dinis e Ricardo Gomes terminou na 3ª posição, todos empatados com 39 pontos, apenas o handicap fez a diferença na classificação final. João Martins foi o melhor jogador em campo, tendo vencido a classificação Gross (26 pts), e o melhor convidado foi, José Sousa Santos com 37 pontos. Os prémios skills foram ganhos por David Patrick Gray o longest drive geral no buraco 18 e por José Veiga Ramos o nearest to the pin no buraco 5. O último torneio da OM será jogado na Beloura (Sintra) no dia 3 de novembro.
