Sunset and Matchplay 2019 Final Standings
On September 28, Luís Alves snatched the CG Engenheiros Matchplay Sixes title for a victory over António Henriques throughout the year. Luís Alves demonstrated tremendous consistency in 2019 in this groundbreaking matchplay competition where 6 holes are played against each of the 3 opponents. On September 5, in the Sunset Golf Challenge, a pleasant circuit played in the late afternoon. João Gouveia outperformed the other engineers and won convincingly.
Both events are a firm bet of the club and will be back by 2020.
A 28 de setembro, Luís Alves arrebatou o título de Matchplay Sixes do CG Engenheiros conseguindo uma vitória renhida sobre António Henriques ao longo do ano. Luís Alves demonstrou uma consistência tremenda em 2019 nesta prova inovadora de matchplay em que se jogam 6 buracos contra cada um dos 3 adversários de formação. A 5 de Setembro, encerrou-se também o Sunset Golf Challenge, agradável prova de buracos disputados em finais de tarde. João Gouveia superiorizou-se aos restantes engenheiros e venceu de forma convincente.
Ambas as provas são aposta firme do clube e estarão de volta em 2020.
