The South Cir­cuit Clos­ing Tour­na­ment was held on the Sir Henry Cot­ton course of Pen­ina Re­sort, bring­ing to­gether play­ers from 23 clubs in the Lis­bon, Alen­tejo and Al­garve re­gions. The ex­cel­lent con­di­tion of the greens and fair­ways con­trib­uted to the good re­sults.

The Gross win­ner was Peter Mills with 29 points. In the Net stand­ings, the win­ner of the last ANSG tour­na­ment of the year in the south was Fer­nando Helder Dias with 43 points, with João Paulo Mour­inha sec­ond with 43 and Manuel Cân­dido de Oliveira third with 35. The Ladie’s tour­na­ment was won by Ana Rios Oliveira with 37 points, fol­lowed by Ade­laide Bitti and Maria Madeira Rosario. First in the Se­nior Mas­ter was Ma­teus Mar­ques with 34 points, and among the guests Michael En­sor won with 32 points. The special prizes went to Josette Renzi and Philippe Blan­chard (long­est) and João San­tos (clos­est). At the clos­ing cer­e­mony of the Clos­ing Tour­na­ment, the awards were pre­sented by Car­los Rocha, Pres­i­dent of the South­ern Del­e­ga­tion, dur­ing the lunch at Sa­gres do Pen­ina Restau­rant. The tro­phies were also pre­sented to the win­ners of the 2019 South­ern Cir­cuit Rank­ing. To close was a mega-raf­fle, which dis­trib­uted about thirty “gifts” of­fered by the spon­sors. The South­ern Cir­cuit 2020 Open­ing Tour­na­ment will take place on Jan­uary 23rd at the Pin­heiros Al­tos course.

OTorneio de Encer­ra­mento do Cir­cuito Sul decor­reu no per­curso Sir Henry Cot­ton do Pen­ina Re­sort, re­unindo jo­gadores de 23 clubes da região de Lis­boa, Alen­tejo e Al­garve. As ex­ce­lentes condições do campo con­tribuíram para os bons re­sul­ta­dos.

O vence­dor gross foi Peter Mills com 29 pon­tos. Na clas­si­fi­cação net, o vence­dor do úl­timo torneio do ano da ANSG no sul, foi Fer­nando Helder Dias com 43 pon­tos, fi­cando João Paulo Mour­inha em se­gundo tam­bém com 43 e Manuel Cân­dido de Oliveira em ter­ceiro com 35. A prova fem­i­nina foi ganha por Ana Rios Oliveira com 37 pon­tos, seguida de Ade­laide Bitti e Maria Madeira Rosário. O primeiro nos Mas­ter Se­niores foi Ma­teus Mar­ques com 34 pon­tos, e en­tre os con­vi­da­dos gan­hou Michael En­sor com 32 pon­tos. Os prémios es­pe­ci­ais foram para Josette Renzi e Philippe Blan­chard (pan­cada mais longa) e João San­tos (bola mais perto da ban­deira). Na cer­imó­nia de en­trega dos prémios do Torneio de Encer­ra­mento, en­tregues pelo Pres­i­dente da Del­e­gação Sul, Dr. Car­los Rocha, du­rante o al­moço no Res­tau­rante Sa­gres do Pen­ina, foram tam­bém en­tregues os troféus aos vence­dores das di­ver­sas cat­e­go­rias do Rank­ing do Cir­cuito Sul de 2019. A encer­rar decor­reu uma mega tôm­bola, que dis­tribuiu cerca de trinta “pren­das” ofer­e­ci­das pe­los pa­troci­nadores.
