Organising committee for VSF Snehadharam formed
Vazhayoor Service Forum – Qatar (VSF), an organisation of expatriates from Vazhayoor Panchayath in Kerala, recently formed an organising committee for the VSF Snehadharam 2020 programme, which is be held today (September 18) as an online programme on Zoom platform.
VSF Snehaadharam is being conducted after two years interval to honour expatriates from Vazhayoor village for their excellent work in different areas. Previously the honour was given to Ahammed Kutti Kakkove for his literary works done in spite of disabilities, O A Asees for his efforts to build houses for needy families, Bhuvanadasan Vazhayoor for his works in pain and palliative field, Choyi Vazhayoor and Pathumma Puthukkod for their excellence in agricultural field.
This year, VSF is honouring Nargees Begum for her relentless service in the field of charity. The programme will be inaugurated by T V Ibrahim, MLA of Kondotty and Dr K M Naseer, principal Farooq College, will be the chief guest. The event will also be accompanied by the famous mind tuner C A Razak’s leadership training class for social volunteers and leaders.
Vazhayoor Grama Panchayath, president Vimala Parakkandathil, will be the chief patron. V C Mashood, PKC Abdurahman, Bhagyanath, V Govindan and P Alikoya will be the patrons of the programme. Ratheesh Kakkove, president of VSF, will be chairman. Faisal Karad, Unnikrishnan Ellath Purayi, and Asif Kottupaadam are appointed as vice-chairmen. Rafeek Karad, VSF general secretary, is appointed as general convener of the programme. C P Rasheed Karad, Shaji Karad, Shameer Kottupadam, and Abdul Fathah are appointed as other conveners.
