HEC Paris to hold information session for International Executive MBA
HEC Paris has announced that it will conduct an online information session on the International Executive MBA (EMBA) degree programme on October 22.
The session will “provide prospective participants with an opportunity to interact with the HEC Paris in Qatar admissions team, and learn more about accelerating their careers by studying in one of the world’s most prestigious business schools”, a press statement notes.
The next intake of the International Executive MBA, which was ranked No 1 worldwide in 2019 by the Financial Times, will be in February 2021.
Participants enrolling for the upcoming EMBA programme will benefit from an early bird discount, valid until the end of October.
Apart from providing useful career tips, the interactive session is also intended to give professionals and entrepreneurs from the private and public sector in-depth insights into how they can enhance their leadership skills through the institution’s International Executive MBA.
The session will be held from 4pm-5pm on October 22.
Dr Pablo Martin de Holan, dean of HEC Paris in Qatar, said: “HEC Paris has been delivering impact and excellence in education for over 100 years, and the No 1 position is a recognition of the quality of our participants, who bring a wealth of practical business experience from a wide spectrum of industries, our world-class faculty who are at the frontier of knowledge, and our outstanding alumni community.”
The International Executive MBA is a “practical and intense 15-18-month programme developed to provide participants with an understanding of the social, economic and environmental aspects of business, as well as the skills to implement their vision. It helps participants thrive under uncertainty, the statement explains.
The curriculum is built around three components: 11 core courses covering key business areas, a specialisation (major), and a final strategic business project (capstone project). The comprehensive core courses include modules on strategy, analysis and implementation, as well as leadership and human resources management.
Participants who enrol for the EMBA programme benefit from a world-class educational experience, and, upon graduation, become part of the institution’s alumni network worldwide, featuring more than 60,000 members.
Since joining Qatar Foundation in 2010, HEC Paris has witnessed the graduation of 313 participants from its EMBA programme in Qatar. For more information about the programme, one can contact qatar-admissions@hec.fr.
