Culture Pass members invited to explore local architecture
Annual Marchitecture programme celebrates Qatar’s architecture and urban design
Qatar Museums’ (QM) Culture Pass members can look forward to tailored virtual talks and tours centred on local architecture, highlighting the importance and symbolism of Qatar’s urban design.
“This year, we are excited to offer our valued Culture Pass members the opportunity to explore Qatar’s modern architecture as part of our annual Marchitecture programme dedicated to urban design,” QM’s Museum Affairs deputy chief executive Aisha al-Khater said in a press statement. “Qatar’s unique built environment boasts both old and modern design elements that stand in contrast making for a striking architectural landscape and city.”
QM announced the planned events and activities for this year’s “Marchitecture”, an annual month held in collaboration with The Architects’ Hub Qatar that invites Culture Pass members to explore Qatar’s striking architecture through tours and workshops during the month of March.
In line with current restrictions to limit the spread of the coronavirus (Covid-19), spaces are extremely limited and are offered on a first come, first served basis.
