Firm fetes long-serving nine Nepali workers

Nasser Al Ali Enterprise­s, an IOS certified company, recently honoured its nine Nepali employees – Chandra Dhimal, Chandra Mahato, Garib Das, Gore Shrestha, Bel Bahadur Kami, Mahikar Chaudhary, Raj Kishor Singh, Ram Babu Das and Mahendra Mandal Dhanuk.

Each employee received QR15,000 for their 10-year service with the company.

Nasser al-Ali, owner of the enterprise­s, handed over the reward to the employees who have been working at the constructi­on wing of the company.

Mahendra Mandal Dhanuk hails from the far-eastern hills of Nepal. He stressed that it was with the help of his income in Qatar, that he was able to buy land in an urban zone and build a house for his family.

Chandra Dhimal has been able to educate his children with the help from his job in

Qatar. “My children make me proud,” said Dhimal.

Chandra Mahato has been working as a carpenter in the company. Mahato says his boss encouraged him to invest in his children’s education and he had followed the advice.

Gore Shrestha was thankful to his sponsor and employer for providing him a new life.

Bel Bahadur Kami expressed his content with his work and pay in Qatar.

Mahikar Chaudhary, who landed Qatar in 2010, joined the company as a helper and rose up the profession to be a leader in a trade category.

While Raj Kisor Singh plans to use the QR15,000 for his children’s education, an elated Ram Babu Das intends to save the money for a better future.

Garib Das praised his employer “who treated him always like a family member.”

Speaking at the event, Nasser al-Ali thanked all his employees. He hoped that the spirit of the holy month of Ramadan would inspire all for reconcilia­tion, unity and peace.
