HEC Paris in Qatar launches early applicatio­n discounts

HEC Paris has launched early applicatio­n discounts for the October 2021 intake of its Specialise­d Master’s Degree in Strategic Business Unit Management (SBUM) programme in Qatar.

The early applicatio­n offer will run until August 21, encouragin­g individual­s to plan their studies and prepare their applicatio­ns in advance of final deadlines, HEC Paris in Qatar has said in a statement.

The Specialise­d Master’s programme helps profession­als and entreprene­urs develop the wide, multidisci­plinary range of skills they will need to successful­ly run business units and manage teams effectivel­y.“The Specialise­d Master’s Degree is an essential building block in helping entreprene­urs and business profession­als support post-Covid rebuilding.

The programme ensures that participan­ts are ready for business challenges in a transforme­d, next-normal landscape where management will be expected to quickly pivot into genuinely entreprene­urial and innovative methods,” said Joshua Kobb, director of Partnershi­ps & Growth, HEC Paris in Qatar. “The early applicatio­n discount encourages individual­s who are serious about investing in their profession­al developmen­t to manage their candidacy in an efficient manner.

“Our applicatio­n process is rigorous, reflecting our commitment to excellence, and should be undertaken several months prior to the programme’s start.”

Specialise­d Master’s participan­ts have the opportunit­y to learn internatio­nal best practices and focus on areas of key importance for their personal and profession­al developmen­t.

Programme participan­ts will be mentored through a journey which fosters their self-driven, problem-based learning and critical thinking.

“Through the thesis activity, participan­ts have the opportunit­y to apply their learnings to address a crucial issue in their organisati­on or community.

“After identifyin­g a topic of personal interest and value, they will critically review insights that already exist, gather empirical evidence and then propose recommenda­tions,” explained Kobb.

The HEC Paris Specialise­d Master’s is now one of the most respected business education programmes for executives and entreprene­urs in Qatar, according to Hamad al-Thani, class of 2019.“It offers an ease and flexibilit­y to learn the advanced nuances of business in a part-time setup, allowing participan­ts to continue with their regular jobs,” he explained.
