Honor launches premium fitness tracker Band 6

Global technology brand Honor has announced the Band 6 in Qatar with the collaborat­ion of Tradetec Trading Co WLL, the sole authorised distributo­r of Honor in Qatar.

Tradetec Trading Co WLL is one of the subsidiari­es of Intertec Group WLL, having the major market share for mobiles and IoT products distributi­on in the country. Band 6 is the latest addition to Honor’s premium wearable lineup and “has brought a new user experience through amazing and essential features to keep better tabs on their mental and physical well-being.

It is equipped with health and fitness management functions that are required for day-to-day lifestyles”, according to a press statement.

The Honor Band 6 provides a wealth of essential health monitoring features that allow users to better understand their body. Enabled by Pulse Oxygen Saturation (SpO2) monitoring, the Band 6 can detect users’ blood oxygen levels, which is essential for those who keep tabs on their respirator­y health or who enjoy hiking or climbing at high altitudes. Thanks to an optical heart rate sensor and a precise AI algorithm, the Honor Band 6 also supports 24/7 real-time continuous heart rate monitoring that alerts users when an abnormal heart rate is detected. The Band 6 is equipped with a suite of sleep tracking capabiliti­es that identify and log data around users’ daily sleep status, the Band 6 also provides personalis­ed assessment­s and suggestion­s tailored to improving users’ sleep quality. The Honor Band 6 equipped with up to 50m of water resistance, is ideal for swimmers for its capability of tracking activity under water, helping users to boost their swimming efficiency. The device can also automatica­lly recognise six different workout modes and will remind users to start tracking their activity, so that they won’t miss recording their workout data. “The Honor Band 6 is the perfect fusion of innovative style and exquisite technology equipped with a stunning 1.47-inch Amoled display that provides a clear and comfortabl­e viewing experience on your wrist. The device is also engineered for extended battery life that keeps users powered up all day long. On a single charge, it lasts up to 14 days under typical usage conditions,” the statement notes.
