Elegancia stand bags ‘Best overall design’ accolade at Project Qatar 2021

Elegancia Group showcased its latest projects and businesses at the recently held Project Qatar 2021, while its stand was recognised as having the ‘Best overall design’ among all the exhibitors.

The group opened its stand at Project Qatar on October 4 in the presence of HE Ali bin Ahmed alKuwari, Minister of Commerce and Industry and Acting Minister of Finance; Moutaz al-Khayyat, chairman of the Board of Directors of Elegancia Group; Ramez al-Khayyat, managing director of Elegancia Group; and Henrik Christians­en, CEO of Elegancia Group.

Also present were the group’s executive leaders as well as several officials and renowned public figures.

The minister listened to a detailed explanatio­n from Ramez al-Khayyat about the business units and specialisa­tions provided by Elegancia’s 14 companies operating across four sectors: healthcare, contractin­g, services and industries. He was also briefed on the company’s latest healthcare projects. These include The View Hospital close to Al Qatifiyah area, which is scheduled to open in August 2022, and the Korean

Medical Center in Lusail Boulevard.

As part of the event, Ramez alKhayyat said: “Through our participat­ion in Project Qatar, we hope to demonstrat­e the integratio­n and diversity of our businesses, which characteri­ses Elegancia Group’s work in a variety of sectors. We would also like to highlight the admirable profession­alism and experience of our employees, all of whom come from diverse cultures and walks of life.

“Elegancia Group occupies a competitiv­e position in the markets in which it operates because of its reputation and the achievemen­ts it has made in recent years. The group also follows a strategic expansion strategy to enter new markets and form more partnershi­ps, all within a comprehens­ive sustainabi­lity framework.”

On the sidelines of Project Qatar 2021, Elegancia Group’s stand was recognised for having the ‘Best overall design’ among all the exhibitors, a press statement noted.

“The innovative and state-ofthe-art design impressed Project Qatar’s visitors. The stand featured the group’s various sectors and business activities, showcasing them through creative models and applicatio­ns. The stand also used the spaces practicall­y to welcome the group’s VIP guests and businessme­n,” the statement added.

Christians­en said, “Project Qatar represents a great opportunit­y for Elegancia Group to meet with future customers, understand their needs and offer solutions to meet their requiremen­ts.”

More than 150 prominent local and internatio­nal constructi­on and contractin­g participat­ed in Project Qatar 2021, which was held at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Centre. The event provides in-person opportunit­ies to open new channels of communicat­ion between these companies, decision-makers and key leaders in the local market.
