Elite Paper Recycling and Servcorp join hands to protect environmen­t

The two companies will work together to find solutions to environmen­tal problems

I a joint effort to reduce waste accumulati­on and damage to the environmen­t, as well as to improve the overall wellbeing of the community, Servcorp-Qatar and Elite Paper Recycling signed a memorandum of understand­ing (MoU) in the presence of Fabienne Moukheiber Hajjar, senior manager, Catina Aghayan, communicat­ion advisor.

The agreement represents their desire to promote awareness of a healthier society, and increased cooperatio­n to encourage environmen­tal sustainabi­lity and recycling efforts. Under the MoU, the two companies will work together to find solutions to the persistent environmen­tal problems and instil the right concepts related to environmen­tal protection in children.

Abdullah Ibrahim Al Suwaidi, chairman of Elite Paper Recycling, stated, “We are happy to sign this agreement with Servcorp and we are keen on uniting efforts and exchanging services. During the first phase, we will provide cardboard indoor waste bins made of 100 percent recycled paper to raise awareness about paper recycling. This is in line with the Qatar ational Vision 2030, and there will be many more future initiative­s between us, especially green initiative­s at various levels.”

Catina Aghayan added, “Our SME has reached another milestone with signing an agreement with Servcorp, which is a gigantic multinatio­nal company. We have a solid agenda of joint community activities throughout the year on sustainabi­lity and environmen­t awareness. Today, businesses all over the world are evolving into Business with Value’ and EPR, while out company is pioneering the Circular Economy Business Model’ in Qatar. We will use national and internatio­nal platforms to fight climate change and protect the planet’s resources.”
