HIS Highness The Amir of State of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani and
President of the Republic of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Thursday vowed to take the bilateral relations to greater heights and more integrated levels.
During a meeting held at the Pearl Palace on Thursday, HH The Amir and the Turkish president discussed the strategic relations between the two countries and the ways to support and enhance them in various fields, especially in economic, investment, commercial, energy and defence cooperation to achieve common goals.
HH The Amir and Erdogan discussed the latest developments in Palestine, Libya, Syria and Yemen, in addition to exchanging views on international issues of common concern.
Later, HH The Amir hosted a dinner banquet in honour of Turkish president and the delegation accompanying him at the Pearl Palace.
The Turkish president left Doha later in the evening.
