Ooredoo reaches 500,000 postpaid customers figure

OOREDOO Qatar has reached a milestone of 500,000 mobile postpaid customers, the leading telecommun­ications operator has announced.

The latest figures show that some 500,000 customers with Ooredoohav­e a mobile postpaid contract, which the company attributes to the massive expansion of its mobile postpaid customer base to the revolution­ary 5 G plans introduced in December 2019.

Approximat­ely 200,000 customers have signed up for a new 5G contract, with many more drawn by the many benefits each day. All customers signing up for a new 5G plan can take advantage of a choice of entertainm­ent and lifestyle benefits free access to premium football on beIN CONNECT Hollywood, Disney and Marvel movies on STAR PLA Bollywood movies and shows on ErosNow and twofor-one offers across Qatar and the region with Urban Point.

Ooredoo ‘s latest partnershi­p, with entertainm­ent giant Net ix, also means that Qatari customers can access all the latest movies and shows via a free six-month subscripti­on to Net ix on offer.

In addition to entertainm­ent and lifestyle advantages, customers can also tailor their new Shahry 5 G and Qatar 5 G plans to suit their needs all plans give access to a range of add-ons.
