Attiyah attends opening of joint squadron command office in UK
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defence Affairs HE Dr Khalid bin Mohamed Al Attiyah and British Minister of Defense Ben Wallace participated in the opening ceremony of the Joint Squadron Command Building No (12), which is based in the Coningsby base in the United Kingdom. During the opening ceremony, military parades were held, in addition to a joint sortie on typhoon planes. After the ceremony, Attiyah held a meeting with British Minister of Defence Ben Wallace. During the meeting, a number of military issues of mutual interest were discussed, in addition to the latest regional and international developments.

During the opening ceremony, some military parades were held, in addition to a joint sortie on typhoon planes.
The ceremony was attended by Ambassador of Qatar to the United Kingdom HE Yousef Ali Al Khater, Qatari Military Attache to the UK Colonel Ali Muhammad Al Fadala and a number of senior officers in the Qatari Armed Forces.
After the ceremony, Dr Attiyah held a meeting with British Minister of Defence Ben Wallace.
During the meeting, a number of military issues of mutual interest were discussed between the two friendly countries, in addition to the latest regional and international developments.
