QA’s Dreamliner ‘draws’ a pink ribbon in sky

A Qatar Airways flight operated by an all-women crew took off from Doha on Saturday to raise awareness about breast cancer by drawing something special in the sky.

In support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Qatar Airways’ 787 Dreamliner drew the iconic pink ribbon in the sky with its flight path, which was seen on real-time air traffic tracker Flight Radar.

The ‘Think Pink’ flight QR9901 took off at 9:17 am and landed back in Doha after 13 minutes. The all-female crew included pilots, cabin crew, ATC controller, engineers, dispatchers and passengers.

“The @BoeingAirplanes 787 Dreamliner has been instrumental to rebuilding our network, and we’re using this aircraft for today’ s# Think Pink flight to support# Breast Cancer Awareness Month ,” Qatar Airways said in a tweet.
