MES pupils volunteer in support of QCS’ humanitarian initiative
Volunteer students were honoured with certificates and compliments at a ceremony
TWENTY students from Classes 11 and 12 of the MES Indian School participated in the voluntary humanitarian initiative launched by Qatar Cancer Society (QCS) at Lulu branches recently. The objective of the initiative was to create awareness and donate generously to support the QCS.
As part of the assigned task, the volunteer students interacted with customers and encouraged them to buy products from sections exclusively marked in pink, as a certain percentage of the sales proceeds from such products will go to the QCS.
The MES Indian School is supporting the initiatives of QCS even during the pandemic.
The volunteering students were honoured with certificates and compliments at a felicitation ceremony organised at the Conference Hall of the school.

Congratulating the volunteers, Principal Hameeda Kadar encouraged the students to take part in helping the society and uphold the core values of the MES, ie. CARE
Compassion, Achievement, Respect and Empathy.
The programme was coordinated by the MES team of teachers comprising Rajesh K S, Suchitra Kotian and Jency George.
