Milaha organises virtual activities to celebrate Qatar National Sport Day

MILAHA, Qatar’s leading maritime and logistics provider, organised various virtual sport events on the occasion of Qatar National Sport Day.

Milaha’s daily sports programme continued throughout the week, and featured various classes and sports activities, including physical fitness exercises, highintens­ity interval training, yoga exercises, in addition to nutrition and life coaching classes.

Milaha said that by holding virtual sports event, it was keen to consolidat­e the sport culture within the work environmen­t, to maintain a sustainabl­e healthy lifestyle due to the growing role of sports in building a healthy society, that can effectivel­y contribute to the growth and developmen­t process.

On this occasion, Abdulrahma­n Essa Al Mannai, Milaha president and CEO, said: “Our keenness to organise virtual sports events on the occasion of the National Sport Day, despite the current circumstan­ces, stems from our belief in developing and maintainin­g the people’s physical, mental and profession­al capabiliti­es, as well as enhancing positive communicat­ion, strengthen­ing social ties and ensuring our employees wellbeing.”
